Chalice Bridge is a dedicated and passionate family owned and operated Margaret River single vineyard striving to produce fine wine of the utmost quality for consumers and connoisseurs from around the world. Located in the world renowned wine region of Margaret River, Chalice Bridge’s 122 hectares of vines makes it one of the largest single planted vineyards in the Margaret River wine region.

The Chapman Series from Chalice Bridge was named after the Chapman Brook that runs through the middle of our Margaret River single vineyard and provides one of the key essential elements in producing superior fruit, a clean and reliable water source. The Chapman Series wines are very approachable and easy drinking, and are to be enjoyed over good times with friends and family. For those with the patience, these well made Margaret River reds can be cellared from 3-5 years to allow greater intensity and complexity in the flavours to develop.

Rich dark cherry with purple hues.
Aroma
The nose is lifted with perfumed notes and full of spice and white pepper. Dried cedar and mocha characteristics combine with slight hints of aniseed to produce a magnificent nose on this cool climate Shiraz. The spice and white pepper is characteristic of the southern Margaret River location of the Chalice Bridge single vineyard estate.

Palate
A full and rich palate, showing lovely up front dark cherry and spice characters. Intense black fruit flavours of plum and black berry combine with beautifully balanced acid to form a whole mouth feel. As on the nose, white pepper abounds with unobtrusive and well integrated French oak. Lingering flavours of cherry oak carry through to lovely integrated silky tannins.

Cellaring
Cooler climate berry and white pepper characters are the hallmark of the Shiraz fruit produced off the Chalice Bridge single vineyard estate, located in Rosa Glen, in the southern region of Margaret River. This wine is intended to be a drink now proposition with a cellar potential of 3-5 years. So enjoy it today with family and friends, with its generous fruit flavours, and soft, smooth mouth feel.

Food Matching
This cool climate Shiraz will be perfect for a nice seasoned venison fillet with some char-grilled asparagus.
